Print dealers in South Africa serve a segment of the general art market. The South African art market is a small but vibrant one. Print dealers can be found in most of the major cities such as Johannesburg, Cape Town and Pretoria.

Print dealers can be divided into two groups in South Africa. The first have established galleries and regularly deal with the general public. The second work as agents and buyers for various corporate and private collectors. Some print dealers are a combination of the two.

Stuart Trent has established a gallery in Pretoria that regularly exhibits a fine array of work on paper.

MAP (Modern Art Projects) has a number of gallery spaces in South Africa, from Richmond in the Karoo to Pretoria and Graskop. Harrie Siertsma, who owns the galleries, has a keen eye for South African work and has many years of collecting and experience behind him.
